The cardigan is knitted from DK weight yarn with mohair to give it a fluffy texture, and it feels wonderfully substantial when worn. The button band is also super cool and firm because it窶冱 double-knitted. Round-cornered pockets complete the cardigan and give it a unique look. By changing the buttons, you can create a completely different style for the cardis 窶
The cardigan is knitted seamlessly top down. First, stitches are cast on for the neck, then the yoke is worked with raglan increases, and at underarm the work is divided into sleeves and body. The body is worked first, then the sleeves, and finally, stitches are picked up from the front edges and neckline to work the front band vertically from the right hem to the left hem.
This is an absolute favorite of mine because by tweaking the details, you can create a cardigan that suits your own taste 窶>
